Faehre von Picton nach Wellington
Habe noch ein paar schoene bilder gefunden von der fahrt von Picton nach Wellington. (suedinsel zur Nordinsel).
Hier noch ein kleiner beitrag zur weihnachtszeit. Es ist tradition, dass in jedem dorf und in jeder stadt die haeuser mit vielen kitschigen farbigen laempchen und lichtern beleuchtet werden und eine jury entscheidet, wer das haus am schoensten dekoriert hat. Man faehrt dann mit einem plan wo die bestimmten haeuser eingezeichnet sind herum und haelt bei jedem haus an und laeuft etwa 3mal drum herum bis man alles gesehen hat. 
Das habe ich dann auch gemacht mit nathalie, stacey, judith und karlo.

Und - konntest du dich für die schönste Dekoration entscheiden? Hier bei uns nimmt dieses “Wettdekorieren” auch von Jahr zu Jahr zu. Nur fehlt bis jetzt noch die Jury!
Die Bilder von deiner Überfahrt wecken in mir so etwas wie Fernweh - es sieht wirklich wunderschön aus. Du kannst nach diesem Jahr vermutlich unzählige Alben mit genialen Aufnahmen füllen!
Also, nochmals von Herzen ein schönes Weihnachtsfest und heb der Sorg!

Liebe Sarah, jetzt ist es so weit - das Weihnachtsfest steht vor der Tür. Bei dir wird das Christkind schon in wenigen Stunden ankommen! Ich wünsche dir und deiner Gastfamilie ein frohes und gesegnetes Fest. Am Samstagnachmittag werden wir Richtung Escholzmatt fahren- um gemeinsam mit deinen Eltern und Vewandten zu feiern.
Lieber Simon, du wirst - mit wenigen Stunden Verspätung - in einem fremden Umfeld - das Weihnachtsfest feiern. Gerne hoffe ich, dass du auf deiner Reise auch viel Interessantes erleben darfst.
Deine Schwester machte sehr schöne Bilder- und du wirst ihr kaum nachstehen. Alle freuen sich auf weitere Berichte.

Hallo, this is not Sarah, this is Judith.
I wanted to wish you a happy Christmas. Sarah said you celebrate Christmas on 24th which is different to us in New Zealand who celebrate it on the 25th. I hope all of the Meiers have a wonderful day, both in Chile and in Switzerland. Eat lots of good food and open nice presents but most of all enjoy celebrating the birth of our Christ. The best guy in the world.

Hello Judith
, and I have just all prepared on time. So I can really enjoy this beautiful and special day. Yesterday David and I decorated the christmas tree - it’s quite a beautiful one of the little forest of my parents-in-law. Then I decorated the table for the dinner of this evening with candles, angels and a lot of little stars, all in gold. And at least I put up the crib with all the figures I love so much. Today I have now the time to do last little things and prepare the food. But the birth of Christ is too for us the most important message of this day and the reason why we celebrate this day. I tell of him each year to “my” children at school. It’s a good opportunity to make them known with his unique peaceful message. They feel that he is an extraordinary man and they want to hear more stories about him.
Thanks for all your good wishes - and all the good words!!! It’s now the morning of 24th, the most wonderful day of the year - for me. It’s always dark now - I woke up as first of the family, as usual
I wish all of you a merry christmas and the feeling of joy and peace that might come into the world with Jesus, if people open their hearts to him.
