zerscht s positive: ech fendes super, dass du au höufsch bem pflume pflöcke. und jetz s andere: scho nachere schtond flachlegge esch scho chli glii. lits ächt da dra, dass mer met dier i dine junge jahre zwenig si ga heubeerlä und chriesnä? wie wärs met eme neue rekord: 200 pflume statt 150?

Hallo Sarah
Schön von dir Bilder zu sehen. Ich freue mich für dich, dass du es nun so gut hast in deiner Gastfamilie. Ich denke das Pflaumenpflücke wäre auch nicht unbedingt mein grösstes Hobby… Aber wenn man so lange Ferien könnte ich es glaube ich verkraften zwischendurch zu arbeite, so ein oder zwei Tage und dann wieder frei…..
Deine Berichte sind spannend und ich habe schon viel so über Neuseeland erfahren. Die Bilder sind herrlich…… Am liebsten würde ich packen und aus der kalten, nebligen Schweiz gehen bis Sommer ist……..
Wann hast du wieder Schule? Hast du das Lernen schon verlernt ._.) und weisst du überhaupt noch was lernen ist ._.) Heb Sorg und gniess die Zyt wie schnell muss do i de Schwyz denn wieder in im normale Alltag lebe. Mit eme liebe Gruess Gaby

Sarah im Schlaraffenland! Die Ernte macht “gluschtig.” Geniesse die feinen Früchte.

Hallo, Meier’s.
You wanted to know how Sarah was like at picking the plums…She was hillarious.
The photo of her lieing on the ground eatting plums was one i took and i wanted to take it so she could put it on the interenet and show her family what she has really been getting up to. She really likes her plums and has been eatting a lot, it has made me realise how much i was taking them for granted and i’ve started eatting a lot more of them now too. At first she found it hard adjusting to working out in the sun, picking fruit. She got discouraged because she wasn’t picking as fast as the rest of us (but i kept reminding her that she wasn’t far behind). After picking a few crates (the green bucket you see a photo of me emptying) she would give up. Sometimes i would join in with her and we would throw plums at each other. It was a waste of fruit i admit…but we had a good time. Didn’t we Sarah?! It was particularly fun when i hit her with a plum that was very soft and juicy and rotten! But she got me back by dropping one on top of my head
Well that is my account of the plum picking day that you see here in the photos. Feel free to ask me more things, that Sarah won’t tell you lol

What means “hillarious”? Perhaps “she had ups and downs”?
Sarah told me not to publish any pictures of her as a baby. OK, I try doing it in a way like king Salomon: I publish pictures of the twins or of all children. You can try to find out, which one is Sarah or which one is Simon. You find the Pictures on the top right side of teh blog under “about:Sarah”, “about:Simon” and “about:David”. Hope that Sarah can handle that. Otherwise she can delete the picture.
